Terms of service

Last updated: July 13, 2026

These Terms apply to your use of Anviah, including the mobile application and related services provided under the Anviah name. By using Anviah, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these terms and explains Anviah's privacy practices in more detail.

What Anviah is

Anviah is a personal wellness and organization app for fertility journeys.

It can help you organize plans, reflect on your journey, and find gentle support. It is designed as a quiet companion, not as a clinical system.

What Anviah is not

Anviah is not medical advice.

Anviah is not a diagnostic tool, fertility predictor, contraceptive, or emergency service.

Anviah should not be used for contraception or to prevent pregnancy.

Anviah does not replace your clinic, doctor, nurse, pharmacist, therapist, or care team. If anything in Anviah conflicts with instructions from your care team, follow your care team.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter in Anviah and for how you use it.

Medication, appointment, and task reminders are supportive prompts for plans you create. They do not prescribe, verify, adjust, or manage treatment.

For medication, treatment, symptoms, test results, or urgent concerns, contact your clinic, doctor, pharmacist, or local emergency number.

Timeline and estimates

The Timeline feature organizes information you enter, saved dates, appointments, medication-related events, cycle details, and general fertility journey patterns into a visual planning timeline.

Timeline dates, step order, day counts, optional branches, and protocol-shaped views are estimates and organization aids only. They are not medical advice, clinical instructions, predictions, diagnosis, or confirmation that an event has or will happen.

If you enter a treatment protocol, fresh-transfer intent, custom step, edited title, estimated date, hidden step, or note, Anviah uses that information to personalize the Timeline display. Entering or seeing that information does not mean Anviah recommends any protocol, medication, procedure, timing, or treatment decision.

Always confirm medication timing, appointments, treatment instructions, results, and next steps with your clinic or care team.

Who can use Anviah

Anviah is intended for people age 16 and older.

By using Anviah, you confirm that you are at least 16 and legally able to agree to these terms.

Personal use

Anviah is for your personal, non-commercial use.

Please do not copy, resell, reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the app or its content.

Local-first data

Anviah stores and processes your data locally on your device by default. Anviah does not create an Anviah server account for you, and it does not send your in-app fertility data to an Anviah server.

iCloud sync is optional. If you turn it on, supported Anviah data can sync through your iCloud account using Apple platform services. The Privacy Policy explains how iCloud sync works in more detail.

Partner mode

Partner mode is optional and connects two people who both choose to take part. Whether you invite a partner or join as one, a defined subset of Anviah data is shared between you through iCloud sync so you can follow along and help from your own devices. The Privacy Policy describes what is and is not shared.

If Partner mode is on, a connected partner may see the partner-visible Timeline map for a shared cycle, including step order, dates, statuses, edited or custom step titles, hidden-step state, and branch information such as fresh-transfer intent. Free-text Timeline step notes are not included in the partner Timeline digest.

Each person decides whether to take part and is responsible for that choice. Either person can end the connection at any time in Settings, and turning off iCloud sync stops Partner mode sharing. Information one person has already received may remain on their device.

Apple platform services

Some Anviah features use Apple operating system services, such as iCloud, Sign in with Apple, Keychain, Face ID or Touch ID, notifications, camera, and photos.

Apple services are provided by Apple and may be subject to Apple's terms and policies.

App Lock and recovery

When you turn on App Lock, Anviah first offers to use your iPhone passcode, with Face ID or Touch ID if you choose. You can instead set a separate code used only for Anviah.

Recovery depends on which method you pick. If you use your iPhone passcode, you stay able to unlock Anviah as long as you know it. If you set a separate Anviah code, recovery is not guaranteed and may depend on Sign in with Apple and iCloud sync being available. If recovery is not available, reinstalling the app may be the only way to regain access, and local data on that device may be lost.

Your content

Anviah does not claim ownership of the journal entries, photos, notes, questions, care logs, or other personal content you add to the app.

You are responsible for the content you enter and for making sure you have the right to add it.

Intellectual property

Anviah, including its design, code, text, artwork, audio, names, and other app materials, belongs to Anviah or its licensors.

Some content or assets may be AI-assisted, licensed, open source, or provided with acknowledgements in the app. Those materials remain subject to their own licenses or permissions.

Feedback

If you send feedback, you allow Anviah to use it to improve the app without owing payment or credit. Feedback is optional.

The Privacy Policy explains how feedback is handled.

Availability and changes

Anviah may change over time. Features may be added, updated, paused, or removed.

Anviah is intended to stay calm, useful, and respectful, but every feature may not always be available, error-free, or fit every situation.

Ending use

You can stop using Anviah at any time.

You can delete entries in the app where deletion is provided, or use Settings to erase Anviah data from your device. You can also uninstall Anviah from your device.

Uninstalling removes local Anviah data from that device, but on its own it does not remove data you have already synced to iCloud. If iCloud sync is on, that data stays in your iCloud account and can return if you reinstall and turn sync back on.

To remove iCloud data as well, use the erase option in Settings while iCloud sync is on. This clears supported Anviah data from your device and from iCloud, and other devices signed in with the same Apple ID may need to sync before the deletion is reflected everywhere.

Limits of responsibility

Anviah is provided for personal wellness and organization support.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Anviah is not responsible for medical decisions, treatment outcomes, care instructions, lost data, device issues, Apple service outages, or damages that result from using or being unable to use the app.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or warranties that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada, except where mandatory consumer protection or data protection laws in your province, state, country, or region require something else. Nothing here affects data protection rights that apply to you under the laws of where you live.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when Anviah changes or when legal requirements change.

The updated terms will be included in the app with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use Anviah after changes means you accept the updated terms.
